right... i'm useless, i know this... i will always forget about this... but i'm trying...
la la no one will ever read this anyway...
so i have finished my exams, and right now i am just sitting in my room with nothing to do. have been shopping today, have been swimming, seen cristo, avoiding my irritating flatmate... there's nothing else to do!
and 4od is being a little bitch so i can't watch 90210
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand i'm bored.
wanna go home.
but ooooh i went shopping for my outfit for my friend's party on thursday, its fancy dress and the theme is cartoons, so i'm going as Penelope Pitstop from the Wacky Racers, which seriously used to be one of my favourite ever tv shows. so now i'm sitting in my room wearing LOADS of pink clothes and very excited for thursday!
la la la la la la la oh yes, its been several weeks since i've done any chinese, and i feel my brain turn to mush whenever i try and think chinese stuff. i'm such a bad student. i shouldn't be at uni, i should be a shelf stacker at tesco or something....
aaaaaaanyway, i have to go and find something to do before i actually just go to bed early to avoid having to do stuff!

so yeah.... i realised i got an account and never used it, so here it goes. i'm katie manning, i go to nottingham uni and i study history with chinese studies. i may occasionally write in chinese just to spice things up and to practice my 汉语. but don't worry if you can't read chinese, i will generally write nonsense. not that anyone will read this anyway....

general information about me... my top five most visited sights are probably bbc news, facebook, wikipedia, google and civilization online (its my guilty pleasure). since coming to uni i have, shamefully, come to adore all the music i used to hate with a passion, and my current favourite artists include lady gaga and flo rida. this is partly because i love to dance to these songs but also they're crazily catchy. currently my life revolves around chain rxn - an awesome game on facebook - and spotify, which is use to listen to all my guilty guilty pleasures music (at the moment it is katy perry).

ouch, i'm currently eating very spicy noodles, and my lips are chapped. so i currently have very sore lips. nasty. and, after a long day in the library it is now raining, so no nice barbeque to reward myself for all the hard work i've done all day. not that i actually did much work.

better start treating this as a journal. okay, so today i went to the library with my friends for a bit of a study sesh. we went downstairs to the centre for interactive (or something beginning with i) learning, which has loads of huge tables and computers and is perfect for group work, and as usual in exam period we arrived too late to get a table, and we had one chair between the three of us. about half way through the day a woman came up to us and asked us to take part in a discussion about this floor of the library. so we went, said how rubbish it was that there were no tables, but its was a good concept and if it made better use of the space with a few more tables it would be brilliant, and then we got £5 worth of vouchers for the library's cafe as a reward! brilliant, yes?

heeeeenyway, after all that work i might do some hardcore tv watching and catch up on everything i've missed with all this revision. i still have one exam left to go, but its not until the 4th, and as i'm starting my revision now i can take it easy, i think... plus it is essential that i watch britain's got talent! ciao for now.
